Sculpted over centuries by monks and monarchs, we are now carefully restoring four unique buildings within the grounds of the historic Ashridge House reimagined for modern weddings and events. Duke's Yard will feature a landscaped courtyard leading to The Barn, The Coachhouse, The Stables and behind these we discover The Glasshouse.

Food sits at the heart of celebrations at Duke’s Yard. Enjoy everything from a beautifully crafted three‑course wedding breakfast to late‑night bites. Fire‑to‑fork cooking is our speciality, with options ranging from BBQ feasts and relaxed shared‑table dining to wood‑fired pizza in the evening. Every element is designed for flavour, ease, and unforgettable moments.

Retreat

While you as the hosts can stay in our new luxury suite in the lodge overlooking Duke's Yard, all of your guests can stay in our modern bedrooms within the beautiful woodlands surrounding Ashridge House.

Built in the 14th century and later extended by architect James Wyatt, Duke's Yard contains Ashridge’s most storied buildings. Carefully restored to preserve their charm while adding modern comforts, they offer a romantic, character-rich backdrop that blend centuries of heritage with thoughtful, contemporary updates.
